DIRECTOR BIO | NELSON FOIX:
Nelson Foix grew up between Bondy and Guadeloupe. His cinema, nourished by this double heritage, traverses a universe that is both bituminous and luminous. Urban culture and the colours of its island manifest themselves in a direct and fiery aesthetic sense. A great sportsman, musician and rapper, his artistic training and his relationship with the body, forged by athletics and boxing, are catalyzed by cinema as a total, strong and embodied means of expression.
This film is presented by Villa Albertine, the French Institute for Culture and Education, the Consulate General of France in Atlanta and the Alliance Française of Atlanta.
