ABOUT US
Founded in 2021 by European Consulates, Alliance Française d’Atlanta and the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta, the European Film Festival of Atlanta brings the diverse storytelling of Europe straight to the heart of Atlanta.
More than a film festival, we are a cultural bridge, connecting Atlanta’s globally minded community with award-winning European cinema, and visionary filmmakers. Each year, we showcase the cultural, linguistic, and artistic richness of Europe while fostering meaningful collaboration between European creatives and Atlanta’s thriving film and business communities.
As Georgia continues to shine as a powerhouse in the global entertainment industry, the European Film Festival of Atlanta creates a space where global storytelling meets Atlanta’s dynamic film industry.
WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE?
With its dynamic arts scene, booming film industry, and diverse international population, Atlanta provides the perfect location for a festival that celebrates global storytelling. Our audiences are culturally curious, and passionate about film, travel, food, and international experiences.
We don’t just screen films, we create experiences:
Filmmaker Q&As and panel discussions
Industry conversations and networking opportunities
Cultural celebrations that bring Atlanta’s international community together
Collaborative marketing platforms with local and global partners
