The Wall (2023)
by Philippe Van Leeuw
SYNOPSIS:
Jessica Comley is Border Patrol on a stretch of the border between Arizona and Mexico, a desert area that she is proud to defend. Comley feels herself invested in a mission, that of defending America. She loves her job, she wants to be the best and nothing can stop her. This zealous attitude puts her under the surveillance of her hierarchy but she manages not to cross the line, until the day when she loses control and kills a harmless migrant in front of three witnesses: her colleague, who tries to cover the crime, and a Native American with his grandson. It is her word against theirs.
