About Us

Alliance Française, Goethe-Zentrum, and the Consulates of no less than 14 European countries - Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Romania, Switzerland, and Ukraine - are proud to present the third edition of the European Film Festival of Atlanta.

Join us May 8th through 11th, 2024 at the
Plaza & Tara theatres for four days of vibrant and engaging cinema, showcasing the colorful variety of European on-screen storytelling while exploring the many expressions of European Identity. All films will be screened in their native language(s) with English subtitles.

“Films allow us to feel many emotions and to see things outside of our normal day to day lives. We selected a range of European movies, one of them being Oscar-Winner, 20 days in Mariupol, which sadly showcases the realities of war. A way we thought we could give back is by showing the powerful movie with our Atlanta community while giving back to the Ukrainian community.”

— Consul General of Belgium in Atlanta, Michel Gerebtzoff
